Crafts with the Chief

Come out to Sturgeon City for crafts with the Chief of Police, Chief Phelps, as well as other Jacksonville Police Officers! This event is open to children of all ages and their guardians to make fall themed crafts!

Outlander in the Palace Tour

Join historic interpreters Tryon Palace to learn the facts of Diana Gabaldon’s award-winning Outlander series. The tour explores the lives of the fictional Fraser family, their friends, and their interactions with true historic figures of the Colony of North Carolina through the tumultuous period of the American Revolution. For ticketing information, please call 252-469-9047, between 10 am and 4 pm.

Bring your little ones to explore, play, and celebrate the joy of learning with a FREE Day of Play at Zing Zumm!

Food Drive at Surf City Tree Lighting

Come out to Soundside Park for a Christmas Tree Lighting and the 1st Annual Surf City Firefighters Auxiliary Food Drive! All Non-Perishable food items accepted and can be dropped at the Auxiliary Tent collection point during the event! All donations will benefit local Surf City families and pantries!

USAA Holiday Fest

Enjoy an evening of holiday cheer at the USAA Holiday Fest! Take part in family-friendly festivities, the lighting of a 24-foot Christmas tree, and an appearance from Santa and his special guests!

50th Anniversary Celebration & Turkey Shoot

Celebrate 50 years of serving with the Turkey Creek Fire Rescue with lots of fun family events, and live music by Dalton Davis! Face painting, bouncy houses, and fireworks will also be available. Turkey Shoot starts at 6pm!

Santa Claus Meet and Greet in Morehead City

Join Santa and friends at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Park gazebo, at 1012 Evans Street next to the Train Depot!
